Titles of Nobility

((Uh, the title? ....I do not know.xD))

Ilia stood silently, a look of peace passing over her beautiful face as she let out a sigh of contentment. The time of twilight was over, Link had returned and so had her memories. Now, the two of them were arranged to be married. The storm has passed...we're home, she thought as she leaned her head back against a tree, turning her gaze from Ordon village to the sky. Ilia stood there, saying nothing as she thought.

Link had a very hard time adjusting to farm life again. He went back to what he used to do, changed out of his hero garb and back to what seemed normal. He couldn't shake it off just like that. Some didn't want to remember his adventure. It was something that was engraved so deep in his memory he would never forget. He told stories often.

Ilia didn't seem to mind his stories, knowing that somebody couldn't tell him to forget his adventure and expect it to happen. She knew he would never forget, and she didn't seem to mind at all. Occasionally Ilia would shift uncomfortably during his stories, but she never said anything about it.

"Ilia." Link said with a smile after finishing his herding duties for that day, he held Epona's reigns tightly in his fist.

"Yes, Link?" Ilia said, smiling as she looked at him, stroking Epona's fur gently for a moment.

"I just came to see you. I'm feeling kind of stir crazy." He said, which meant he didn't like being bound now.

Ilia smiled as she looked at him, shifting on her feet slightly. "Why don't we go to the spring?" she suggested.

Link grinned, "Okay." He linked arms with her and walked to the spring, still holding Epona's reigns.

Ilia smiled, leaning her head on his shoulder as she let out another sigh of contentment. All of that is behind us now, she thought.

All of it isn't behind me. Why can't it be behind me? Link felt a nasty ache in his chest. He wanted to put it behind him but he couldn't.

Ilia looked at Link for a moment, but said nothing and looked forward again as they reached the spring, a smile appearing on her face.

Suddenly Link smirked, wrapping his arms tightly around her in a hug he kissed her passionately and fell into the water with her, pulling away and laughing his head off.

Ilia sat up laughing as she brushed a strand of her wet hair out of her face, looking at Link with a playful look in her eyes.

"Haha, sorry about that...I couldn't help myself." Link chuckled as he wrapped his arms around her.

Ilia gave him a quick kiss, then wrapped him in a hug and put her head on his chest.
