Link was stopped by guards upon entering.

"Do you know the whereabouts of Princess Zelda?"

"No, I haven't been here since the war of Twilight. I haven't seen her since it ended as a matter of fact."

"Witnesses say they saw you taking her in the dead of night."

"What?" Ilia exclaimed, taking a step forward in shock. "Well, they've got it wrong," she said quickly.

"We'll take him in for trial!" The guards cuffed him and pulled his arm so hard it snapped. "Ilia! Everything will get sorted out, I'll be back!"

"Link!" Ilia called, trying to follow them, but she was stopped by one of the guards who pushed her back.

Link was thrown in a dungeon awaiting his trial. There was no evidence besides stupid witnesses that he'd taken the princess.

Ilia paced back and forth until the guards finally left. What can I do about this? she thought frantically.

Apparently the trial never happened, the trial didn't happen for almost four months. He was forgotten in the cell.

Ilia always would try to push for his trial, but never succeeded. She was angered by the slow movement of the law.

Link was in the cell dying of hunger. There was some stale bread on the ground but he didn't want it because it would make him even more sick.

Judge Boobehay stared her down, "Witnesses say that they saw him jump from the princess's window with her in his arms!" He barked.

The judge Boobehay didn't seem very amused, "Just for this we're postponing his trial for another seven months!"

((Really? Link got turned into a wolf(which was awesome), had to save you, who lost your memories and you're just NOW figuring out life isn't fair?))

"Of course it's not fair." A man said from behind, he walked forth, a real dark version of Link! Only he wasn't Link, he had several differences. "Because he's not the one who took Zelda."
